We introduce and develop the initial theory of vague soft hyperalgebra by introducing the novel concept of vague soft hypergroups, vague soft subhypergroups, and vague soft hypergroup homomorphism. The properties and structural characteristics of these concepts are also studied and discussed

On Normalistic Vague Soft Groups and Normalistic Vague Soft Group Homomorphism

We further develop the theory of vague soft groups by establishing the concept of normalistic vague soft groups and normalistic vague soft group homomorphism as a continuation to the notion of vague soft groups and vague soft homomorphism. The properties and structural characteristics of these concepts as well as the structures that are preserved under the normalistic vague soft group homomorphism are studied and discussed

Decision Making Based on the Aggregation Operator and the Intuitionistic Fuzzy Reduction Method of Intuitionistic Fuzzy Parameterized Intuitionistic Fuzzy Soft Sets

In this paper, we introduce the aggregation operator of IFPIFS set and apply this operator in a hypothetical decision making problem involving attributes and parameters that are subjective in nature. Specifically, this operator is applied in a decision making problem involving the selection of the best candidate for a vacant position in an organization. Next, we introduce an algorithm called the intuitionistic fuzzy (IF) reduction method which involves the reduction of the original IFPIFS set into an IF set and subsequently a fuzzy set which would then be used to determine the optimal solution for the problem. We demonstrate the application of this algorithm in an object recognition problem which involves subjective and uncertain data.

Algebraic Hyperstructures of Vague Soft Sets Associated with Hyperrings and Hyperideals

We apply the classical theory of hyperrings to vague soft sets to derive the concepts of vague soft hyperrings, vague soft hyperideals, and vague soft hyperring homomorphism. The properties and structural characteristics of these concepts are also studied and discussed. Furthermore, the relationship between the concepts introduced here and the corresponding concepts in classical hyperring theory and soft hyperring theory is studied and investigated

Vague Entropy Measure for Complex Vague Soft Sets

The complex vague soft set (CVSS) model is a hybrid of complex fuzzy sets and soft sets that have the ability to accurately represent and model two-dimensional information for real-life phenomena that are periodic in nature. In the existing studies of fuzzy and its extensions, the uncertainties which are present in the data are handled with the help of membership degree which is the subset of real numbers. However, in the present work, this condition has been relaxed with the degrees whose ranges are a subset of the complex subset with unit disc and hence handle the information in a better way. Under this environment, we developed some entropy measures of the CVSS model induced by the axiomatic definition of distance measure. Some desirable relations between them are also investigated. A numerical example related to detection of an image by the robot is given to illustrate the proposed entropy measure

An Extended Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to an Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) with Maximizing Deviation Method Based on Integrated Weight Measure for Single-Valued Neutrosophic Sets

A single-valued neutrosophic set (SVNS) is a special case of a neutrosophic set which is characterized by a truth, indeterminacy, and falsity membership function, each of which lies in the standard interval of [0, 1]. This paper presents a modified Technique for Order Preference by Similarity to an Ideal Solution (TOPSIS) with maximizing deviation method based on the single-valued neutrosophic set (SVNS) model. An integrated weight measure approach that takes into consideration both the objective and subjective weights of the attributes is used. The maximizing deviation method is used to compute the objective weight of the attributes, and the non-linear weighted comprehensive method is used to determine the combined weights for each attributes. The use of the maximizing deviation method allows our proposed method to handle situations in which information pertaining to the weight coefficients of the attributes are completely unknown or only partially known. The proposed method is then applied to a multi-attribute decision-making (MADM) problem. Lastly, a comprehensive comparative studies is presented, in which the performance of our proposed algorithm is compared and contrasted with other recent approaches involving SVNSs in literature

Resource orchestration in Indian ethnic entrepreneurial enterprises through generation change in Malaysia

    No full text
Ethnic entrepreneurial enterprises are continuously evolving, especially when generations change. As these changes take place, resources are also orchestrated differently. However, research gap exists on how resources are orchestrated in ethnic entrepreneurial enterprises through generational change. We answer this question by adopting a qualitative approach based on data from eleven ethnic entrepreneurial enterprises that have experienced generational succession. The data was then analysed by adopting a novel approach of artificial intelligence. Our results suggest that the orchestration in class and ethnic resources has equipped the later generation ethnic entrepreneurs with capabilities to expand and develop their ethnic entrepreneurial enterprises. We emphasize the importance of orchestrating resources in ethnic entrepreneurial enterprises for product innovation, market growth and business development as generations change. The use of artificial intelligence technique enables underlying patterns in ethnic entrepreneurship to be discovered, which assist practitioners in making the best decisions concerning entrepreneurial efforts. This study invites entrepreneurs to comprehend the importance of orchestrating resources for entrepreneurial decision-making in business expansion and development, especially in ethnic entrepreneurial enterprises. With novelty in the methodological application, we extend a cordial invitation to erudite scholars to apply artificial intelligence technique within qualitative research to achieve precision and nuances
